Malvern National Honor Society will host an American Red Cross blood drive at the First Christian Church of Malvern on Wednesday, April 24, from 12-5 pm. Go to the Blood Donor App or RedCrossBlood.org and enter the Sponsor Keyword: MalverHS. You may also call 1-800-RED-CROSS. Donors will receive a $10 gift card by email to a merchant of their choice.

On Wednesday, April 17th, Malvern students in grades 6-12 participated in a safety assembly coordinated with the Ohio State Highway Patrol- New Philadelphia Division and the Carroll County Prosecutor’s Office. Students learned about the dangers of distracted driving and the importance of staying focused while behind the wheel as we enter the “100 Most Dangerous Days” on Ohio roads.
Carroll County Sheriff's Department Detective Rick Stauffer and Carroll County Prosecutor Steven Barnett shared a presentation on social media and internet safety with students. Students were informed about the laws of using personal devices and encouraged to make responsible decisions.

The National Honor Society is sponsoring a Blood Mobile which will be held NEXT Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at The First Christian Church of Malvern beginning at 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. If you would like to donate and are age 16, please stop into the office for a permission slip. Anyone who donates will receive a $10 gift card to a merchant of their choice!
Any girl in grades 8-11 that would like to try out for high school cheerleading. Please see Mrs. Marinucci in room 228 to sign up and get a tryout packet.

The 2024 Malvern’s Jr/Sr Prom is tomorrow evening - please come out to support our prom goers tomorrow here at the school beginning at 5:30 pm for the promenade. The Prom is being held at the Varian Orchard this year.

Congratulations to Senior Abby Moody on being awarded The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Scholarship Award. The Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) established the scholarship program to promote and recognize outstanding academic achievement. One senior from each Ohio county nominated by an ESC is eligible to receive this prestigious honor each year.
Abby received a $1,500 college scholarship at the award banquet on April 15th at the Nationwide Conference Center in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Abby is the daughter of Gary and Pam Moody. She is a Malvern High School Varsity cheerleading, track, and volleyball team member. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council Leadership Team, Peer Partners, and Big Brothers Big Sisters member. Abby plans to attend La Roche University, majoring in Pre-Med and continuing her volleyball career.
