Kathryn is escorted onto the field today by her parents, Samantha and
Greg Kidder. Kathryn will earn her 4th varsity letter in Softball, where she earned Honorable Mention All IVC North a year ago. Kathryn is a member of the Malvern Lighthouse Team, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Peer Partners. After graduating from Malvern High School this month, She plans to attend Kent State University and major in Education. Kathryn wants to eventually become an English teacher.

Danielle Skinner
Danielle is escorted today by her parents, Stephanie and Chris Skinner. Danielle will letter in Softball for the 4th time. She attends the RG Drage Career Center and is in the Bakery/Pastry program. Danielle is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. She works at the Malvern Dairy Queen. Danielle will graduate from Malvern High School on May 19 and attend Stark State College in the fall.

Haley Wilkinson
Haley is with her parents, Heather and George Wilkinson. Haley will be a 4 year letter winner in Softball, where she was an IVC North 1st Team selection a year ago. Haley was a co-captain and a 3 year letter winner in Volleyball, where she was the team’s Hornet Award winner. Haley is the National Honor Society President. She is also on the Student Council Leadership Team, a member of the Science Club Leadership Team and a member of the H.E.R. Club. Haley plans to attend Slippery Rock University and major in Biochemistry. She wants to become a Pharmacist.

There will be a National Honor Society meeting TOMORROW during 5A in Mr. Betsa's room 237. All current NHS members are required to attend.
The PBIS end of the year reward is a trip to the Rubber Ducks Game. If you name is on the list that is posted in the break out area in the middle school, please bring in $7.00 and give to Mrs. Wagner. Lunch will be provided. You will need to bring with you extra money for souvenirs and snacks. The game is Tuesday, May 14th.
SENIORS - Your Senior Banquet reservations are to be turned into Mrs. Kee TODAY.
This week is SPIRIT WEEK - The Carroll County Youth Resilience team would like you all to participate to help raise awareness about the month of May being mental health awareness month – TOMORROW, it’s UNIQUE DAY. Please wear crazy hair and/or socks
Anyone interested in running cross country this fall - there will be sign ups and a quick meeting this FRIDAY at 1:00 pm here in the cafeteria.
Good luck to our high school softball team tonight here at home against Buckeye Trail. Game time is 5:00 pm at the field. Good luck to our baseball team this afternoon at East Canton. The game will begin at 2:00 pm.

Brown Local School, in partnership with Aultman Orrville Carrollton Health Center, will hold a Sports Physical Clinic for the 2024-2025 School Year.
When: Date: Friday, May 17th, 2024
Time: 7:30am- 10:00am
For whom: all athletes who need physicals entering grades 6th-12th next school year.
Cost: $35 due day of clinic (cash or check made out to Aultman Orrville Carrollton Health Center)
Forms: The Forms must be completed and turned in at the Malvern School Clinic by May 10th. Form packets can be picked up in the Middle School/High School Office.

Mya Doughty is your IVC Champ and Malvern Jr.high record holder in the 400 M, running a blazing 1:00.89!
She followed that up as IVC Champ in the 200 M, breaking the IVC Championship meet middle school record and Malvern Jr.high record previously held by Zoe Moser with a season best 27.29!
The girls 4x200 relay consisting of Olivia Maher, Ayanna Strain, Ella Debo and Mya Doughty were also IVC Champs running a season best and school record 1:57.93!
The boys 4x800 relay consisting of Camden Babiczuk, Dekon Pennington, Jacob McClelland and Cooper Dorr are your IVC Champs running an amazing race - 10:12.71!
There were a lot of great performances tonight! Great job Hornets!
