⭐️ Congratulations to our very own Coach Dennis Tucci! Coach Tucci was the winner of the Paul Walker Award and was honored during the OHSAA Boys State Basketball Championships in Dayton! We are very proud of you Coach!
The award is presented annually by the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association to an active coach who has made significant contributions to high school basketball.


⭐️ Gold Star Mrs. Katie Spencer!
🏆 This morning, Mrs. Spencer was named The Franklin B. Walter Outstanding Educator Honorable Mention Award Winner! The award was presented by the Ohio Department of Education State Support Team 9.
The Franklin B. Walter Outstanding Educator Award is presented to educators who have have made extraordinary contributions to the education of students with disabilities.
Mrs. Spencer is a graduate of Mount Union University and earned a Masters Degree from Malone University. She has 19 years of teaching experience.
Mrs. Spencer is a kind, dedicated and outstanding teacher and advocate for her students. She creates a nurturing and supportive classroom environment to ensure all students have the opportunity to grow and learn. Congratulations Mrs. Spencer, we are very proud of you!

☘️ In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, the #MalvernPride Chemistry classes made "silver and gold" coins. They learned about alchemy and the zinc plating of copper pennies. Later they heated the copper and zinc pennies to create brass. Check out our Chem-is-tree ornaments!

After losing in the quarterfinals, Tyson Clear Wins his first Consolation Match and Secures All Ohio Honors!
Tyson will be the first All Ohio Malvern Wrestler Since Ryan Lane in 1994!
Tyson will wrestle again this evening!

Malvern qualified three wrestlers to the state tournament.
Tyson Clear (157 lbs.) was the lone Hornet to win his first round match to advance to Saturday's quarterfinals match. Clear defeated Tinora's Aiden Helmke with a 7-5 decision. He will wrestle Legacy Christian's Ethan Cooper in Saturday's quarterfinal.
Xaiver Watson (175 lbs.) and Zach Babiczuk (215 lbs.) both lost their opening rounds.
Watson faced Owen Berner in the 175 lb. consolation round Friday night. Watson's season ended with a decision (9-2) loss to Berner.
Babiczuk’s season came to an end as well after being pinned by Brookville's Bronson Stacy in the consolation match.
