Teacher/Rookie of the Year
Brown Local Schools celebrates the 2026 Malvern Teacher of the Year, Tami Warner, and Rookie of the Year, Maysie Rogers!!
Tami Warner is a dedicated educator from Malvern who built a versatile teaching career spanning three decades in the Brown Local School system. For her higher education, she attended West Liberty State University in West Virginia, where she earned her teaching credentials. She also has a Masters in Instructional Technology from the University of Akron. Mrs. Warner dedicated 30 years to education, serving only within Brown Local Schools. The majority of her career was spent as an elementary school teacher, where she focused on foundational education. In her last years she transitioned to the middle school level, specializing as a Math Teacher for students in the sixth grade. Beyond the classroom, she was an active advocate for her peers, serving as the President of the Malvern Education Association (MEA). In this role, she helped negotiate and lead the district through contract developments to ensure fair terms for teachers. Mrs. Warner is retiring this year, she will be greatly missed!!
Maysie Rogers is her first year as an elementary intervention specialist. Last year she served the district as an elementary title tutor.
These two are amazing educators and we are so fortunate to have them as part of our Malvern Family!
