2025 MALVERN BASEBALL SENIOR NIGHT Welcome to the Malvern Village Park for today’s non-league Baseball Game between the St. Thomas Aquinas Knights and the Malvern Hornets. Today, we would like to honor our 2 senior baseball players who are finishing up their athletic careers at Malvern High School. Tyler Cobb Tyler is with his parents this evening, Melody and Anthony Cobb. Tyler will be a 3 year letter winner in baseball this spring, where he is the team’s starting catcher. Tyler was a 2 year letter winner on the Regional Semi Final Football team. He attends RG Drage Career Center and is in the Health Technology program. Tyler plans to attend Toledo University and major in Paramedics to be a first responder in fire and EMS. #7 Tyler Cobb Jared Witherow Jared is walking onto the field with his parents, Stephanie and Jeremy Witherow. Jared will earn his 3rd letter in baseball this spring, where he was an IVC 2nd Team selection in the past. Jared lettered 4 years in football, where he was named to the All Ohio team this past fall. Jared also earned 3 letters in basketball, where he was named to the IVC 2nd Team. Jared is a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Partners, and a member of the Lighthouse Team. He also takes college credit classes here at Malvern. After graduation from high school, Jared intends to attend The Ohio State University and double major in History and Art History. #22 Jared Witherow Congratulations to Tyler and Jared…we wish you best of luck in the upcoming sectional baseball tournament and after graduation on May 18 from Malvern High School.

Congratulations 2025 Malvern High School Track Seniors!! Kenna Ball Kenna is walking onto the track this evening with her parents, Shawn and Kara Ball. Kenna is earning her first letter in track. Kenna was a 4 year letter winner in volleyball, where she earned 2nd Team in District 5 in the fall. Kenna also lettered in Cheerleading and Softball during her high school career. She is the Treasurer of the National Honor Society and Foreign Culture Club. Kenna is also a member of the Student Council and Her Club. She works at the Malvern Dairy Queen and Carrollton Dunkin Donuts as well. Kenna plans to attend Kent State University and major in Public Relations and Communications. She wants to become a Social Media Strategist. Evan Debo Evan is escorted onto the track this evening by his parents, Chris and Jayme Debo. Evan will be a 4 year letter winner in track, where he was an IVC Honorable selection a year ago. Evan also lettered twice in basketball, where he helped lead the Hornets to an IVC North Championship this past winter. Evan is a member of the National Honor Society here at Malvern. He plans to attend Kent State University to pursue a bachelor's degree in Finance and continue running his digital marketing business. Alexis Felter Lexi is with her mother, Becky, her brother, Michael, and her sister Alecia Oberlin. Lexi will letter for the 2nd time in track this spring, where she participates in the 1600 and 3200 Meter Runs. Lexi earned 3 letters in Cross Country and a letter in Band. She also participated in Wrestling at Malvern. Lexi attends the Utica Shale Academy in Salineville for Welding. After Graduation next month, she plans to enter the workforce to start her Welding career. Audrey Sikorsky Audrey is escorted this evening by her parents, John and Emily Sikorsky. Audrey will earn her 3rd letter in Track & Field this spring, where she was a Regional Qualifier last year. Audrey lettered 4 times in volleyball where she earned IVC 2nd Team this past fall. Audrey also lettered 1 year in softball. She is the president of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Audrey is secretary of the Foreign Culture Club, and a member of the Lighthouse Team and Her Club. She also works at the Carrollton Dunkin Donuts. Audrey plans to attend Kent State University and major in Business with a minor in Biological Sciences in order to become a Medical Device Sales representative. Eric Swain Eric is walking with his parents, Roger and Jane Swain. Eric will earn his 4th letter in track, where he scored in the District Meet a year ago in the 4x400 Relay. Eric was a 2 year letter winner in basketball in the winter, where he was an IVC and East District Honorable Mention selection. Eric is a member of the National Honor Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Pleasant Grove Chapel. After graduation, he plans to attend Kent State University to major in Educational Psychology. Rayne Theiss Rayne is with her mother and step-father, Sheri and Jeff Verboski, and her grandparents, Linda and Charlie Theiss. Rayne will letter for the 4th time in track this spring, where she finished in 7th place in the Long Jump at the District Meet a year ago. Rayne is a 3 year letter winner in Cheerleading and a 4 year letter winner in Cross Country. She participates in the Health Technology program at RG Drage Career Center. After high school graduation, Rayne plans to attend Kent State Salem receive her Associate’s Degree in Radiology. Congratulations to Kenna, Evan, Lexi, Audrey, Eric, and Rayne. We wish you the best of luck in the upcoming IVC and District Track Meets and after graduation from Malvern High School on May 18.

Today, we would like to honor our senior softball players who are finishing up their athletic careers at Malvern High School. #12 Megan Kuba Megan is walking on the field today with her parents, Andy and Jennifer Kuba. Megan will be a 4 year letter winner in softball, where she earned 2nd Team in the IVC and East District last year. Megan earned 4 letters in basketball, where she was an IVC and East District Honorable Mention selection this past season. Megan also lettered 1 year in cross country. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the United Youth Group. Megan plans to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in the Fall and major in Business. #30 Izzy Warth Izzy is escorted today by her father and his girlfriend, Chris Warth and Sarah Russell along with her late mother, Carrie Conrad. Izzy will be a 4 year letter winner in softball this spring, where she was an East District Honorable Mention a year ago. Izzy is a member of the National Honor Society and Foreign Culture Club. After graduation from Malvern, she plans to attend Kent State-Salem to enter the Sonography program.
