Brown Local School, in partnership with Aultman Orrville Carrollton Health Center, will hold a Sports Physical Clinic for the 2024-2025 School Year. When: Date: Friday, May 17th, 2024 Time: 7:30am- 10:00am For whom: all athletes who need physicals entering grades 6th-12th next school year. Cost: $35 due day of clinic (cash or check made out to Aultman Orrville Carrollton Health Center) Forms: The Forms must be completed and turned in at the Malvern School Clinic by May 10th. Form packets can be picked up in the Middle School/High School Office. ⭐️ Congratulations Stark County ESC Education Celebration Award Winners! ⭐️ Teacher of the Year- Vicki McCamon has been an educator for 17 years, earning her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Walsh University. She has been a science and STEM teacher at Malvern Middle School for three years. Mrs. McCamon has raised state test scores through engaging, hands-on lessons in her science classroom. She is a team player and is always willing to assist students and her school across all areas. Mrs. McCamon has obtained certification for robotics instruction and sees great value in STEM education. She is always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally. Vicki McCamon truly loves teaching and strives to individualize education for all students in her classroom. ⭐️ Rookie of the Year- Tara Tucci- Miss Tucci is a proud Malvern High School Graduate and Graduate of Kent State University. Three Malvern Students Inducted into the 2024 National Technical Honor Society On April 29, three Malvern High School Juniors were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society during an R. G. Drage Career Center ceremony. Those honored with induction to this prestigious organization included Drew Ritter- Graphic Communications; Abigail Abel- Health Tech Program; and Jacob Kirby- HVAC Program. The National Technical Honor Society is an educational non-profit that honors, recognizes, and empowers students and teachers in Career and Technical Education. As the honor society for Career and Technical Education, NTHS serves over 100,000 active members annually in secondary and postsecondary chapters nationwide. Student must meet high standards to be part of NTHS, including high grades, excellent attendance, and dedication to their Career and Technical Program.
