United Way’s Young Leaders Society offers a $1,000 scholarship to help cover the cost of textbooks, renewable up to 4 years.
Applications are now open and are due March 31, 2023.
This scholarship is available for high school seniors graduating from Stark or Carroll County schools that will be first-generation college students (defined as a student pursuing a two-year associates degree or four-year college or university degree whose parent(s) or guardian(s) did not complete a two-year associates degree or four-year college or university degree).
