The Hornets Golf Team finished 5th overall in the IVC as they shot a 339 at the PostSeason Tournament led by Senior Ethan Bush who shot an impressive 77. He was followed by the Freshmen duo of Cooper Kiehl with an 86 and Tyler Pelle with an 87. Sophomore Cameron Good carded an 89. The Jr. High Hornets had two top 10 finishes in their IVC PostSeason Tournament led by Wade Barkley with an 81 and Ayden Pelle with an 82.

⭐️ School Record Alert!! ⛳️ The Malvern Hornets Golf Team “drove” their way to their 14th win of the season defeating Buckeye Trail 166-180. Their win total ties the school record set in 1991 & 2000. Senior Ethan Bush balled out on Senior night hoisting at 37 while Freshman Tyler Pelle carded a career low 41. Malvern (4-1, 0-0) at Strasburg (1-4, 0-0) What to know: Malvern is 4-1 against teams whose combined record, not counting games against the Hornets, is 18-2. The Hornets rank first among the 26 teams in Region 25 of Division VII. Now they head into their Inter-Valley Conference North Division schedule against five teams with a combined record of 5-20. … The Hornets are prohibitive favorites despite coming off a 40-7 loss to Sandy Valley. Strasburg's last winning season was 2010, when the Tigers went 7-3. Strasburg has just eight wins coming in the last six years. … The Tigers last beat Malvern in 2005. The Hornets are 17-0 in the series since then, scoring more than 40 points in 10 of the games, including in a 42-0 win last year. … Jimm Morris was Strasburg's head coach from 2008-13 and returned to the post this year. Strasburg is coming off a 54-14 loss to Tusky Valley.

Strasburg High School will host Military and First Responder Appreciation Night this Friday at the Varsity Football Game Vs Malvern.
