❤️ Please Consider Wearing Red and Black On Friday in Support of Tusky Valley and Carrollton-
Dear Brown Local Families,
Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the Tuscarawas Valley and Carrollton staff and students. Yesterday morning, a Tusky Valley bus carrying band students was involved in an accident traveling to the Ohio School Boards Conference in Columbus, where six individuals tragically lost their lives.
Over the weekend, Carrollton Senior Aiden McNutt tragically passed away in a house fire.
Carrollton and Tusky Valley are neighboring school districts, friendly school rivals, and important members of our local education community. Some of our staff members’ children attend Tusky Valley and Carrollton, and many of our students have friends and acquaintances in those schools.
On Friday, we will encourage everyone to wear Red and Black in support of these school districts.
In moments like this, our students need us to support one another, be good listeners, and help connect anyone who needs to talk with one of our counselors. If any of your students or family members are in need of support, please reach out to school administration or counselors.
We will have collection envelopes in the elementary and MS/HS offices through the end of the school day on Tuesday, November 21st if anyone is interested in donating. We will split the donations evenly between the two communities. If you wish to contribute to one particular community, make a note of it on an envelope.
Thank you for your continued support and thoughts for our neighbors.

⭐️ Congratulations to Abby Moody on her official college commitment! Abby has committed to play volleyball at La Roche University, a Division 3 program in Pittsburgh, PA. We are very proud of you! Go Hornets!
