Summer is coming soon. You may be thinking about what your child will do for lunch while school is out. Come join us for lunch here at Brown Local Schools. It’s food that’s in while school is out. This is a Federally Funded Program. There are NO income requirements, and any child under 18 may come to eat FREE!! Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision, and unfortunately, we are not permitted to serve any adult paid lunches. This is a friendly reminder from the Brown Local Schools Food Service Department, your cafeteria staff. As you may know the cafeteria cannot accept any charges beginning Monday, May 21. Please understand that this policy is intended to reduce or eliminate negative balance accounts before the end of the school year. The Malvern Scholarship Fund Committee will be holding it's 4th annual golf outing at Edgewater Golf Course in Minerva on Saturday May 19th at 2pm. Cost is $50 per person ($200/team) - this includes 18 holes, cart and hotdog on the turn. Please contact Tami Hulit at 330-806-9222 for more information. Over the past three years years the Scholarship Committee has awarded 18,000 in scholarships to Malvern seniors and Malvern graduates attending college. The last day of school for students is May 31st, 2012. The Brown Local School Newsletter displays the calendar and shows May 31st as the last day of school, but an error was made in the wording, stating June 31st as the last day for students. We apologize for the oversight.

Brown Local will continue to use PAYFORIT.net as an online lunch account payment option. Through this service, you can conveniently put money on your child's lunch account through a secure online credit card transaction. The convenience fee for this service has been lowered this year to 4.3% (compared to 4.75% last year).
To begin, just go to PAYFORIT.net and create an account (if you do not already have one), and follow the instructions.
