Seamless Summer Lunch Program

The Brown Local Board of Education is pleased to announce that our District will be participating in the 2010 Seamless Summer Food Program. This program allows us to provide a FREE lunch throughout the summer to all persons in the Brown Local School District community who are 18 years of age and under and those persons over age 18 who meet the State agency definition of mentally or physically disabled.

Program Information:

Dates: Every weekday from June 7, 2010 through August 20, 2010 with the exception of July 5, 2010 when the school will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Time: 11:00 am – 11:45 am each weekday

Location: Malvern School Cafeteria at 401 W. Main Street, Malvern.

Eligibility: All community members 18 or under or those community members over age 18 who meet the State agency definition of mentally or physically disabled are eligible for one (1) meal each day of the program.

Restrictions: No adult or paid lunches will be served. All children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision.

Please note that this program is being funded by the Federal Government as the District will be reimbursed for each meal served.
